How students benefit from work experience

Careers Leader at Hornsea School and Language College, Sally Richardson, said: “We are hugely grateful to Heald for their ongoing support and input to our careers programme at Hornsea School. Our students massively benefit from encounters such as work experience, mock interviews and workplace visits, and this is something Heald continually offers to our young people.

“The opportunities at Heald not only help to raise aspirations but also contextualise their learning in STEM subjects, help to develop employability skills and prepare them for the future.”

Debbie adds: “We’re so proud to strengthen the knowledge and skills of so many driven young individuals. At Heald, we pride ourselves on providing invaluable learning opportunities, allowing individuals to experience real-life scenarios and skills needed for a bright future.

“I thoroughly enjoy the work we do to support the local school and college, and I am extremely pleased to be part of the schemes that make a difference. We look forward to continuing to support young individuals within the local community.”
