For the fifth consecutive year, Heald are pleased to announce that we have been placed in the Metis Partners IP100 League Table, ranking in 8th place overall.
The IP100 is an annual ranking of innovative companies based on a rating of their track record in exploiting IP and IP asset strength. The highest scoring companies are published in the IP100, an annual ranking of businesses which are considered to be the most effective at commercialising their IP assets.
The annual IP100 League table assesses five areas including the following classes – Patents, Brand and Reputation, Trade Secrets, Critical Databases and Software. Out of the five IP Asset Classes, Heald placed the highest in the Brand and Reputation table, ranking 9th overall.
The news comes following a series of international distributor announcements including with Sweden-based Intergate, Singapore based ESCO Pte Ltd and German security firm truckBloc GmbH.
Heald also saw success this year at the Hull Business Awards taking away the Innovation and Technology Award for our Bridge Bollard System, while Sales Apprentice Natasha McDermott was crowned the winner of the Apprentice Award. In addition, Heald was also named as a finalist in the Medium Business of the Year category.
Commenting on the IP100 listing, Managing Director Debbie Heald MBE added: “We are delighted to rank in the IP100 league table for the fifth year in a row. Our maintained position in the top ten is a real credit to the entire Heald team.
“Over the past 12 months we’ve had so many exciting things happen within the business and seeing our ranking in the IP100 2020 reflects all the hard work we’ve put into the business. Looking forward, we will continue to innovate security products which help protect people and places around the world.”
