Heald Renew Long-Lasting Partnership With Secured By Design

At Heald, keeping people and places safe is our top priority. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that we have renewed our membership with Secured by Design?(SBD), the national police crime prevention initiative. Heald has been working with Secured by Design for a number of years and is something we are always proud to continue with. 

Secured by Design works closely with UK Police Forces and a wide range of other organisations including National and Local Government, British and European standards authorities, the construction industry, trade associations and manufacturers to achieve sustainable reductions in crime through design and other approaches to enable people to live in a safer society. Since its launch 28 years ago, SBD has adapted its approaches to keep pace with changing patterns of criminal behaviour. 

Secured by Design is the only route for companies to obtain Police accreditation for their products in the UK.
