Heald MD Shortlisted for Hat-trick of IoD Awards!

We are proud to announce that our Managing Director, Debbie Heald MBE has been shortlisted in three Institute of Director Awards categories, Yorkshire and North East.

After a tough judging process, Debbie Heald MBE has been shortlisted in the following categories:

Director of the Year: Innovation

Director of the Year: International

Small / Medium Business of up to £50m

The shortlist comes following success across the globe which has seen installations in the USA, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific increasing export sales from 60% to 80%. Supporting export growth is Heald’s innovative Matador product, the only sliding bollard available in the world due to its patent protection, making up a significant percentage of international sales.

More recently, Heald introduced a range of Electro Mechanical products, which create a secure and sustainable environment by using approximately 60% less electricity to operate, compared to a standard hydraulic unit.

Commenting on the triple shortlist, Debbie Heald MBE added: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted in the IoD Awards. Heald are dedicated to creating secure environments with our innovative products and I am glad to see that this has been recognised. I will look forward to the awards ceremony in July and I would like to congratulate all shortlisted individuals.”

The awards are set to take place on Thursday 4^th July 2019 at The Principle, York, where the regional winners will be announced. All winners are then put forward to the National Institute of Director Awards which take place in October.
