Heald’s PAS68 Roadblockers are the perfect solution for security installations where a crash-rated, high-profile deterrent is required.

Available in two different heights to create an imposing barrier when fully raised, they stand at 880mm or 1200mm above finished floor level dependent on the model chosen. As standard the Roadblockers come finished with bright yellow and black stripes for high visibility (alternative colours are available).

Crash tested to PAS68 standards with a 7.5-tonne truck travelling at 80kph (50mph) the roadblocker continued to function following impact, ensuring ongoing protection and access for emergency service vehicles. The design of the PAS68 Roadblocker’s sacrificial front radius plate ensures protection of your site after impact.

Operated via a single hydraulic cylinder, this provides a smooth operation and easier service and maintenance than its comparable market competitors, all accessible via a hatch on the wedge top. As an automated system, the Roadblocker can be integrated with various access control systems to provide quick and convenient access to authorised vehicles and emergency services. Also integrable with Heald’s Hydra control system.

For the highest security sites, the Roadblocker is available with Emergency Fast Operation (EFO), to allow the Roadblocker to raise in less than 2 seconds for immediate protection against an imminent threat.
