Mini Viper

The Mini Viper is an in-ground or surface mount, anti vandal system, offering a flexible security solution for all locations and can be installed as a temporary access control point.

The Mini Viper is ideal for temporary installations in areas where a permanent fixture is not required. Presenting high reliability and easy installation the product can be bolted directly to the ground’s surface or flush mounted with only 110mm excavation or 255mm dependent on the quality of the subbase.

The standard Mini Viper’s blocking element stands at 340mm when raised, however other heights are available. The product can be used for many purposes, ranging from simple traffic control, to acting as an imposing security barrier, deterring potential attackers. Custom colour options are available to ensure full integration with site architecture and surroundings.

Raised and lowered by a remote push-button control system, the Mini Viper is also operational with Heald’s Hydra control and monitoring system which offers unprecedented levels of interaction through a simple, streamlined interface. It can also be supplied with an EFO (Emergency Fast Operation) system where required.

The unique wedge & folding skirt design means the Mini Viper requires a very shallow foundation depth of 110mm.

Designed with operation and safety in mind, the Mini Viper is topped with a Durbar plate to reduce slip or trips of any personnel walking across the product. Additionally, the slotted front plate is movable upon installation minimizing the gap between the rising wedge and base plates.

Protective sacrificial skirts for safety and reliability reduce debris collection and specially designed internal linkage bars ensure hydraulic and electromechanical drive units remain protected in the event on a crash situation.
