Hydra

Heald’s Hydra is a revolutionary remote control and monitoring system, designed to simplify and streamline interaction with automated Roadblockers and Bollards and adding greater remote control, product data monitoring, and functionality to your perimeter security products.

Available as an option with any of Heald’s automated products, the Hydra system facilitates push button control of blockers and bollards, product health monitoring, status feedback, historical product usage data and much more. Users can also control and monitor the status of products via a tablet app, mobile phone or PC with data securely transmitted via ethernet, data bus or mobile network with the optional GSM module. This is enabled by utilising end to end bank level encryption or an air gap system.

Especially useful for large or complex installs where multiple units are operating in tandem, allowing for more customisable operation than any other system currently available and compatible with most existing Heald installations. Three different tier systems have been designed; bronze, silver, & gold ranging in a variety of different functionalities, all of which are laid out in the subsequent pages.

The option to add selected functions to your chosen pack is also available upon request.

The Hydra system can be used to control a single product, an array of products or multiple sites with multiple products making it especially useful for large or complex sites where multiple units are operating in tandem or multiple products at multiple locations are to be controlled all via a single control point.

With multiple functions available such as Alarm Indication, Engineer Access, Report Functions, System Overview and much more, the Hydra system integrates seamlessly into your perimeter security system to provide you all the data and functionality you could possibly need.
