The Fixed Raptor shallow mount bollard solution is an evolution of Heald’s shallow mount automatic rising bollard, the Raptor. It offers similar levels of security in a static solution.
The Fixed Raptor has been tested to the stringent PAS68:2013 standard, against a truck weighing 7.5-tonnes travelling at 48kph. It successfully arrested the vehicle with zero penetration and zero dispersion.
Boasting a complete excavation depth of just 200mm. No pre-casting of the pit is necessary, nor is any additional rebar, taking less than an hour to install.
The ideal solution for locations where deep mount is undesirable, inappropriate or impossible but where a high security, highly visible deterrent is necessary. The Fixed Raptor has a formidable appearance, which is backed up by its security credentials. It can be installed either individually or as part of an array, allowing it to secure an aperture of virtually any width.
Prefect for sites where high security is essential, but a slightly more sympathetic visual approach is required. It will blend into the environment more than a larger wedge blocker but still has an imposing presence.
