Vacancy- Part-Time Health and Safety Advisor

The role:

• Day-to-day implementation of senior external H&S adviser and management teams recommendations
• Working with other team members to ensure continuous development and improvement of H&S standards
• Ensuring good working practices across the board
• To ensure all documentation relating to the health and safety of the company is fully up to date and implemented to ensure a continued positive safety culture
• To make recommendations as appropriate and necessary to the management team
• To be responsible ultimately to the Managing Director but to the Workshop Manager on a day-to-day basis
• Undertake weekly machinery checks
• Undertake weekly toolbox talks
• Collation of Health and Safety documentation for audits including ISO
• Creation of RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for our onsite working

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH qualification
• Membership of IOSH

Experience:

• Must have excellent knowledge and experience of Health and Safety at work in a fabrication and manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of working in manufacturing OR fabrication

Salary - £24,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience and on a pro-rata basis
