Vacancy- Business Administrator Apprenticeship

Full training will be given to the successful candidate. As well as the opportunity to undertake further development training ie NVQ.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Operations’ Supervisor but will also gain experience by working with our Logistics and Shipping Co-ordinator. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be trained to undertake the following duties:

Key responsibilities:- 

• Preparing paperwork for jobs including test certificates and job description forms

• Preparing Bills of Materials

• Filing completed Jobs

• Liaising with Customers and internally with other departments

• Creating delivery files and folders

• Creating shipping and delivery documentation

• Booking transport 

• SAGE ordering

• Creating export documents and liaising with the Chamber of Commerce for shipping and customs documentation

• Allocating HS commodity codes

• Chasing for proof of delivery/export

• Maintaining shipment schedule

You will have an aspiration to work in a busy office and will possess good IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.  You will have good communication skills and recognise the importance of exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.  You will have good organisation and timekeeping skills as well as a high level of accuracy. 

Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.  There may also be time away from the business for training.
