Successful Heald Installation Overseas

Another successful Heald installation overseas. Working with our Australian partners GK Solutions.  Heald’s HT1-Viper roadblocker is a PAS68 and ASTM tested security barrier in an imposing shallow mount solution. Not only did it halt a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at a speed of 80 kph and continue to function afterwards, it also only requires an excavation depth of 400 mm.

It can be supplied with an EFO (Emergency Fast Operation) system where required. The Viper uses a hydraulic drive to operate; this provides smooth, quiet operation and does not require noisy chains that many others have. It has been designed with the usual unique Heald features making installation quick and cost effective.
