Success for Heald at International Security Expo

Earlier this month, Heald exhibited at one of the industries flagship security events, International Security Expo. Taking place at Olympia, London, it attracted thousands of visitors over two days.

One of the highlights on the security exhibition calendar, we showcased our award-winning Matador – the world’s only sliding bollard security product on the market.

Specifically, we demonstrated the latest innovation in the range, the Electro Mechanical Matador which requires no oil and up to 60% less electricity to operate. On hand to answer questions were owners Debbie and Rod, plus team members Vicky, George, Richard and Philippa.

Following many successful installs around the world, the Electro Mechanical Matador attracted plenty of interest from visitors. Key topics included its extremely shallow foundation depth, crash test capabilities and of course, its unique sliding feature. The patented protected design has been a global success, with installations in America, the UK and Norway.

The show provided Heald with a great opportunity to meet with our distributors ESCO, Bavak and Lai Yew Seng to discuss upcoming projects, as well as catching up with some of our membership organisations including PSSA and Secured by Design.

Whilst Heald will be exhibiting at the show again next year, our next event we will exhibiting at is the annual Secured by Design ATLAS 2020 event, taking place on 25^th – 26^th February.
