Revolutionary PAS 68 Bollard from Heald

NEW PRODUCT- THE FIXED RAPTOR PAS 68 BOLLARD!

Following from the success of the surface mount Matador series and shallow mount retractable Raptor, Heald is proud to announce the arrival of the shallow mount Fixed Raptor static PAS 68 bollard.

Offering high security combined with a rapid, low cost installation the Fixed Raptor is already making waves in the security sector.

The Fixed Raptor is an evolution of the retractable Raptor but offers a static solution with an even smaller true excavation depth of only 200mm. No precasting of the pit is required, nor is any additional rebar. Our fitters can excavate the pit, place the Fixed Raptor and infill with just over half a cubic meter of concrete in less than an hour. Furthermore, the Fixed Raptor can be installed individually or as part of an array to secure an aperture of virtually any width.

The Fixed Raptor was recently tested by MIRA to PAS68:2013 standards, with the performance classification of PAS68: 2013 V/7500(N2)/48/90:0.0/0.00. The Fixed Raptor’s formidable countenance shows that it means business, and the test results back this up.

Equally important is the simplicity of the Fixed Raptor’s installation process. Requiring an excavation measuring only 1600mm wide x 1600mm long x 200mm deep, it is perfect for situations in which a traditional deep mount bollard is impractical or impossible – for example locations with underlying cables or ducting.
