Northern Power Women Awards Names Heald as a Finalist in 2 Categories

We’re pleased to announce Heald Ltd has been shortlisted in the Northern Power Women Awards 2016. Out of an astounding 680 applicants, Heald has been named in two categories including Small Business and Outstanding Entrepreneur.

Winners of the inaugural awards will be announced at a ceremony on 3^rd March at Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.

Northern Power Women is a collaborative campaign to improve gender diversity from the North of England. The awards aim to showcase role models who take positive steps towards transforming organisational culture within the north of England.

Debbie has a keen interest in encouraging other women in STEM careers and hopes to use her successes within the industry to inspire others.

Commenting on the recent shortlistings, Debbie stated: “On behalf of all of the Heald team, we are delighted to be named among the tough competition in this year’s Northern Power Women Awards. With only 6 nominees named in each category, the shortlistings are a huge achievement for Heald. We aim to champion all of our employees and these shortlistings really do recognise the importance of gender diversity at Heald”.

The news follows another recent shortlisting for Heald in the Yorkshire Business Masters Awards earlier this month.
