Heald “Wear it Pink” to Host Charity Event for Breast Cancer Now

On Thursday, 20th October, Heald hosted an in-house fundraising lunch to raise funds for the charity, Breast Cancer Now.

Rocking all things pink, the Heald team took a break from their usual work attire and embraced going pink for the day. Heald supplied lunch, whilst the whole team contributed a range of cakes, which were sold to raise money for a worthy cause.

Helen, from our Purchasing Department, was the successful winner of the annual best-dressed trophy; meanwhile, new Electrical Apprentice Dan came a close second. In other celebrations, Sales Supervisor Vicky also celebrated her 20th Heald anniversary!

Thanks to the generosity of the whole team, it was a very successful event. Overall, the team raised nearly £160, which was matched by Debbie and Rod Heald, resulting in a total of £320 to donate to Breast Cancer Now.

Managing Director, Debbie Heald MBE said of the charity event:  “It’s so fantastic to see the whole team coming together to raise money for such an important cause. It was a brilliant way to raise money and an excellent opportunity for everyone to have fun together.”
