Heald Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer Now

On Friday 20th October 2017, the Heald team dug out their pink clothes like many other companies across the UK to ‘Wear it Pink’ in order to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Now. The whole office got involved by wearing onesies, pink wigs and even pink steel toe capped boots!

Not only this, the whole team made an effort to either bake, or bring in a bundle of food to have a bake sale and a buffet. During the day, the team took time out to learn about who Breast Cancer Now is as a charity and what they do. We also played games such as the pink sweepstake and the big pink quiz, which brought out some competitiveness! It was a fun day for everyone involved and we managed to raise a grand total of £400.

However, it wasn’t just Heald team that got involved. The team’s partners also got involved to help out as much as possible by donating food and joining in the fun. Han-made Bakes very kindly donated a marvellous lemon cake for us to sell, which went down a treat with the whole team!

Managing Director, Debbie Heald, added: It was great to see the amount of effort the Heald team went to, to raise as much money as we could for Breast Cancer Now, whilst also having fun. All the money is going to a very good cause which we am extremely happy to support.

Heald are always committed to raising awareness and money for charities and are already planning their next fundraising event.
