Heald Owners Announce Monthly Charity Fund

In conjunction with World Kindness Day, we are proud to announce that the owners of Heald, Debbie and Rod have pledged to support a different charity or local cause each month.

Every month, members of staff from Heald will send their nominations to Debbie and Rod detailing why they think their nominee should benefit from a £150 contribution.

The nomination can be any charity that is close to a team members heart, or alternatively, it could be a good cause such as a voluntary organisation or local sports club.

The idea was suggested by a team member after discussing how Heald could enhance their CSR activity in 2020. Speaking about why the charity fund has been introduced, Managing Director Debbie Heald MBE added: “We pride ourselves on ‘making a difference’ to our employees, the organisations we work with and the global community. By introducing our charity fund, we hope to support our colleagues with what matters most to them. We understand that there are different charities and causes that our team members are involved with and we would like to help support these causes too.”

Heald take part in a variety of charity events each year. Heald’s most recent charity event included taking part in Wear it Pink, where the total amount raised for Breast Cancer Now was £447.22.
