Heald GmbH Managing Director Sales to speak at IBIT24

Heald GmbH’s Managing Director Sales Germany, Michael Dahinten, will speak at the IBIT24 conference in Cologne, Germany, on 16th October 2024.

IBIT is Germany’s leading conference on crowd and event safety management. It will take place on October 15th and 16th and allow for the exchange, transfer of knowledge, and discussion of relevant issues in crowd safety management, event safety and security, and the organisation of crowded spaces.

Supporting the conversation will be Heald GmbH’s Managing Director Sales Germany, Michael Dahinten, who will be sharing his many years experience as a security consultant for inner-city protection. During his role with Heald, Michael has supported the implementation of perimeter security projects in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Geisenheim, Mainz and Dortmund.

Michael will be co-hosting a conversation titled “HVM (Hostile vehicle mitigation) – Field report from the collaboration between the manufacturer and security advisor”. Joining the conversation is Martin Herrmann, who has many years of experience as a specialist planner and head of visitor safety, working on many major events, including the Euro 2024 fan zone in downtown Stuttgart, the security concept and the topic of access protection at the Festival of Lights in Stuttgart and the access protection at this year’s Christopher Street Day in Stuttgart.

The two-day conference will include more than 35 presentations, discussion panels, workshops, an exhibition, and networking opportunities.
