Heald donates to Hull Women’s Aid this Christmas

As we approach what can be a challenging time for families, and with the uncertain economic climate making Christmas a struggle for families across the UK, Heald has donated a number of Christmas gifts and £200 to Hull Women’s Aid.

Hull Women’s Aid is a well-established organisation and an integral part of the voluntary sector in Hull. Providing temporary accommodation and 24-hour support to women fleeing from or living with domestic abuse, Hull Women’s Aid aims to improve the quality of life for women and children.

With a long history of supporting local charities, Heald has previously supported organisations such as WomanKind, Hull Food Bank, Mind Mental Health Charity, Breast Cancer Now, and WISHH.

Managing Director, Debbie Heald MBE and the wider Heald team are incredibly passionate about supporting charities all year round.

Debbie comments on this year’s charity donation: “Myself and the whole Heald team strongly value the importance of contributing to all kinds of local and national charities, making a difference where we can. Christmas is a time for giving to others, and as a business with the means to do so, we’re proud to be able to help causes like Hull Women’s Aid.

“Hull Women’s Aid is an incredible organisation that needs a continuous stream of donations s to ensure the charity can continue to make a positive impact on women and their families.”
