Heald Directors Raise Over £4,200 for Charity

Earlier this year, our directors took on a 237 mile bike ride for two charities, Cancer Research UK and stem4. They successfully completed the journey and we can now announce they managed to raise a grand total of £4,237.75 (including Gift Aid).

Of course, raising this amount of money would not have been possible without all of your generous donations and we would like to thank you for supporting both charities, and Debbie and Rod on their journey, which you can read about here. The money has been spilt between both charities, meaning they individually received £1,957 (excluding Gift Aid).

Commenting on the amount of money raised, Managing Director, Debbie Heald added: We are extremely thankful to everyone who sponsored us to take part in this bike ride, together we have managed to raise a great amount of money which I hope will help both charities in the future.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer. Stem4 is an organisation which aims at promoting and protecting the mental health of teenage sufferers through the provision of support, education and practical advice.

At Heald, we are committed to raising awareness for charities and recently took part in Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear it Pink Day’. Debbie and Rod also plan to do a similar bike ride next year to continue supporting and raising funds for charity.
