Heald Directors Complete 125 mile Cycle for Charity

Last month our directors, Debbie and Rod Heald completed a 125 mile bike ride to Mont Saint-Michel to raise money for a very worthy charity, Emmaus.

Emmaus is a homeless charity which offers meaningful work and a sense of belonging to people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion.

Debbie and Rod started their journey at Portsmouth, where they took a ferry across to France. The cycle couldn’t have gone any better, with Debbie and Rod having no problems with their bikes and the weather being perfect throughout the whole duration of the cycle.

Varying from 40 – 60 miles a day, the cycle took two and a half days. The bike ride came to a finish at the entrance gates to Mont Saint-Michel, where the couple took their bikes across.

Setting a target to raise at least £1,500.00, our directors have currently raised over £2,000.00 for Emmaus, which wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Commenting on cycle, Managing Director Debbie Heald added: “Completing our journey to Mont Saint-Michel has been a fantastic achievement, whilst also raising a great amount of money for Emmaus. I would also like to thank everyone who has donated and supported myself and Rod during the cycle.”

If you would still like to send a last minute donation, you can do so here.
