Heald Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

It’s National Apprenticeship Week, and at Heald, we are incredibly proud to highlight the vital role apprentices play in shaping our workforce. At Heald, we believe in providing opportunities for individuals to develop and grow, with our apprenticeship program at the heart of this.

This year, we’re delighted to celebrate our eight current apprentices, who are undertaking a range of Level 3 apprenticeships, demonstrating the breadth of opportunities at Heald:

Ben and Walter are currently honing their skills in metal fabrication by completing their Level 3 Metal Fabricator qualification. While Daniel, Toby, Dillan, Alfie and Hayden are all working towards their Level 3 Engineering Fitter qualification. Finally, Ruby supports the company’s operations as she completes her Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Over the past 20 years, we have seen numerous apprentices progress into key roles within the company. Most notably, Shane Marrow will be celebrating an impressive 20 years with Heald this year after completing his apprenticeship with us.

Alongside Shane, we’ve also seen the success of former apprentices like Adam, Luke Hirst, Ryan, Aimee, James and Adam who continue to work at Heald past their apprenticeship completion.

Looking ahead to the future, we usually have a range of work experience opportunities during the summer, providing a pathway to becoming an apprentice at Heald.
