Heald Attend Overseas Event In Norway

Last week, Heald travelled to Oslo to exhibit at the Securing Norway Together event, which was organised by The Department for International Trade and the DIT Defence & Security Organisation.

The event which focused on physical security welcomed security professionals from the UK and Norway, including The Emergency Planning Agency, Oslo Municipality and the SO15 – Counter Terrorism Command from the Metropolitan Police, to share their expertise and guidance on how to mitigate potential security threats.

Throughout the event, private organisations specialising in mitigating physical security threats such as Heald were on hand to discuss the innovations available to combat such threats. Heald also held many interesting conversations about our award-winning Matador bollard which secures some of Norway’s high profile buildings and public spaces.

Most recently the Matador has become available as part of our electro-mechanical product range, which brings with it many benefits including requiring up to 60% less electricity to power.  The HT3-EM Matador has also been IWA crash tested to halt an 18 tonner N3C vehicle at @ 64 kph (40 mph).

We will look forward to continuing working in Norway with our distributors, as well as exhibiting at more overseas events later this year.
