Heald assistant to walk 26.2 miles for charity

Our assistant, Helen Heath, is taking part in The Moonwalk London 2017, a  26.2 mile walk, in order to raise money for Walk the Walk, who pass funds raised to Breast Cancer UK. Having lost both her mother and cousin to breast cancer, this cause is very close to Helen’s heart and we would love for you to support this cause too.

Walk the Walk came into action when, 20 years ago,  thirteen women power walked in the New York City Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Breast Cancer UK’s vision is a world in which the environmental and chemical causes of breast cancer are eliminated. Fewer people will then not have to live in fear or suffer from the trauma of this disease.

The walk is set to take place Saturday 13th May where Helen will begin her walk at midnight, and continue to walk through the night for 26.2 miles around London. Helen hopes by taking part in the 26.2 mile walk, it will help raise awareness for Walk the Walk and their work will inspire others like it has her.

We wish Helen the very best of luck with her walk. If you can support this amazing charity with a donation it would be greatly appreciated.
