Heald launches revolutionary surface mount gate solution
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new gate-led hostile vehicle mitigation system, the Matagate. The new gate solution is an evolution of our iconic Matador bollards, offering all the advantages of a crash-tested Matador, now integrated with a gate which restricts vehicular and pedestrian access.
What is the Matagate?
The Matagate stands alone as the only HVM gate solution on the market that offers a surface-mount installation. This provides perimeter security in areas where retrofitting such measures might be challenging. The new gate solution requires no extensive excavation, delivering comparable impact protection without these significant installation requirements.
How does the Matagate work?
The gate utilises Heald’s Matador 4, 5, or 6 system; for example, the Matador 4 gate style is covered by the Matador 4 credentials. Standout features include various operational methods, such as electromechanical and manual, fully customisable aesthetics, and emergency fast operation.
Where shallow mount installation is possible, Heald’s architectural paving system can be utilised to offer seamless integration with the surrounding landscape.
