Heald Launches HT3-EVO, the Evolution of its EVO Bollard

We are proud to announce the launch of the HT3-EVO bollard. This latest evolution in the EVO series has significantly enhanced protective capabilities, as demonstrated by crash testing at 50mph to the latest international standard, ISO 22343. 

The HT3-EVO is the evolution of the highly successful HT2-EVO, which is IWA-14 crash-tested at 40mph (64kph). The HT3-EVO has successfully undergone crash-testing to the new ISO 22343 standard against a 7.2 tonne truck travelling at 50mph (80kph).

Rising to 1.1m, the HT3-EVO requires only a 1.2m excavation, and coupled with its unique internal reinforcement, it is the most resistant hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) bollard on the market. 

Introduced in 2023, ISO 22343 has replaced older standards like IWA 14-1, ASTM 2656 and PAS 68 to create a single global testing standard for products that protect against vehicle attacks. It is the global standard that companies use to prove their products can withstand vehicle impacts to specific criteria.

The EVO range offers a truly unique security bollard. Compared to other rising bollards, there is no central cylinder within the bollard contributing to its strength and durability and is trusted to secure high-profile locations across the globe, including the Shrine in Australia.
