Heald Wear it Pink!

Last week, the whole Heald team dug out their best pink attire to raise money for a fantastic charity, Breast Cancer Now. All departments, including the workshop, made their best effort to be dressed up for the day, ranging from pink wigs to pink nails!

Not only did Heald Wear it Pink, the team also put their baking skills to the test by baking buns and cakes, as well as bringing in a variety of savoury food. Hull based bakery, Han Made Cakes also very kindly donated twenty four delicious cupcakes, which were raffled off in order to raise as much money as possible.

This was an excellent opportunity for the team to come together to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Now, as well as taking part in activities such as the Pink Quiz. The day also saw our Sales Supervisor, Vicky, taking the prize for ‘Best Dressed in Pink’!

Overall, it was a successful day, which saw Heald raise over £344.00.

Heald are always looking to support charities and events and are already planning their next fundraising event. Heald have also recently sponsored Jason Liversidge, who is hoping to achieve a Guinness World Record.
