Heald Shortlisted in the UK Export Excellence Awards 2016

We’re delighted to announce that we have been named in the shortlist for the UK Export Excellence Awards 2016.

Launched by GTR and The Manufacturer, the inaugural awards will celebrate the UK companies who are already part of the growing UK economy. Judged by an independent panel of experts, these awards will recognise export excellence across a range of sectors and geographical regions.

At the heart of Heald’s export strategy is the invention of new and unique security products that no other competitor around the globe can supply.Approximately 80% of Heald’s products are sold overseas, however all elements of the manufacturing process take place in-house at their headquarters in the UK.

Earlier this year, the company also joined the Made in Britain initiative which supports and promotes British manufacturing and enables buyers in both the UK and abroad to identify quality, British-made products.

Heald are among four other companies in the Innovation in Exporting category in the UK Export Excellence Awards. Winners of the awards will be announced on 15th June at a ceremony and gala dinner at St George’s Hall, Liverpool.
