I started as an apprentice at Heald 14 years ago, working my way up to supervisor helping to train the next generation of engineers undertaking apprenticeships, sharing my experiences, and guiding them through their training.

Since joining as an apprentice 3 years ago, Heald has enabled me to develop my career through learning more about engineering aspects, using CAD and plasma nesting software to support my current role as Sales Advisor and championing women in engineering.
I’ve really enjoyed my first year at Heald, they’ve given me the opportunity to learn new skills and expand my knowledge in engineering and 3D CAD Design. I enjoy that I have a varied workload, and no two days are the same keeping my work interesting.
