Commander Automatic Road Blocker

The Commander Automatic Road Blocker is the world’s only security barrier PAS68 tested to stop a 30 tonne truck travelling at 80 kph (50 mph). Following the crash test, the road blocker continued to function.

Halting a 30 tonne truck at 80 kph (50 mph) is officially the highest ever impact energy test successfully undertaken on a security barrier. Not only this, but the automatic road blocker also achieved a zero penetration result.

Standing 1165 mm above the ground and presenting an imposing security barrier, The Commander is intended for sites where high profile security is essential. There is simply no alternative if you require the very highest level of security.

The automatic road blocker requires an installation depth of approximately 1500 mm but its unique design of its outer box fabrication enables a quick and easy installation with no requirement for pre-cast pit or additional rebar. This ensures that installation is as simple and efficient as possible.

The Commander will require the installation of a control cabinet, detection loops and ducting to allow the unit to function and communicate. Our fully trained installation team will ensure that everything is installed both to our extremely high standards and to your satisfaction.
