What Are Roadblockers?

To guard against high levels of vehicular threat, we have developed a range of Roadblockers. These are metal barriers which can be raised and lowered to allow vehicles to pass over them. The default position would be in the raised position, to stop vehicles from passing through.

A truly formidable defence, the roadblocker stands upto 1165mm tall. Roadblockers are a more significant presence than arm barriers or bollards, because of their size they offer protection against large vehicle types.

We manufacture a number of different models designed for different levels of threat. The PAS 68 / K12 Roadblocker meets both the British and American standards, disabling a 7.5 tonne vehicle travelling at 80kph.

PAS 68 / K12 Roadblocker

The PAS 68 and K12 refer to the UK and US crash ratings that have been achieved by this roadblocker. We perform regular crash tests on our roadblockers to ensure they meet the required standards. This roadblocker has sustained multiple impacts and continued to operate.

All our Roadblockers can be supplied with EFO (Emergency Fast Operation) and can operate through any access control system.
Optional accessories also include manual handpump, antiburst hydraulic valves, battery backup, anti tamper device for control cabinet, traffic indicator lights, safety loops and photocell units.
