Heald Support Jason Liversidge For His World Record Attempt

Jason Liversidge is aiming to set a Guinness World Record by becoming the first person to travel more than 90 kmph (55 mph) in an electric mobility vehicle, and it would be great if you could help support him too!

Why?
In 2013, Jason was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a terminal illness which affects the brain and nerves. Unfortunately, there is no cure. At just 37 years old, Jason was given 2 – 5 years to live.

Moving forward five years, Jason now needs full-time care and has almost lost the ability to move. He has two daughters that he wants to leave a legacy behind to, which is one of the reasons he is taking on this challenge.

The Guinness World Record Attempt
Jason is known for taking on extreme challenges to raise money for charity, one of which has seen him complete the longest in Europe and the fastest zip wire in the world! You can view Jason’s challenges that he has completed here.

Jason enjoys fast cars and motorbikes, therefore it only seems right for him to travel more than 90 kmph in an electric wheelchair and break the Guinness World Record. Indra, who are electric vehicle specialists are designing the wheelchair for Jason. They have estimated that the design of the wheelchair is to cost around £10,000.

Can you help?
We are really proud to be supporting Jason on his journey and are happy to be behind a great cause. Jason has currently raised over £4,000, but is attempting to raise at least £10,000 for the cost of the electric wheelchair.

If you would like to sponsor Jason to help him complete his Guinness World Record attempt, you can do so by visiting his Just Giving page. Any left-over donations will be handed to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. For more information and help surrounding Motor Neurone Disease, please visit the MNDA website.
