The heavy duty Automated Bollard is ideal for protecting a range of industrial and commercial sites. Manufactured from 220mm diameter heavy duty steel tube, it provides an alternative to the Roadblocker for use on sites that may be more architecturally sensitive, but still require a higher level of security. The bollard lies flush to the road surface when lowered and raises to a height of either 640mm or 800mm (dependant on model) in approximately four seconds, thus providing a formidable barrier against unauthorised entry or exit. The Automated Bollard can be operated by a range of access controls and is controlled by a central Mitsubishi PLC that can be programmed to exact requirements. Ideal for bus lane control, pedestrian walkways, high security establishments and car parks, the bollard is designed to be used by any road going vehicle.
