What Are Roadblockers?

To guard against the highest level of vehicular threat, we have developed a range of Roadblockers. These are steel barriers which can be raised and lowered to allow vehicles to pass over them. The default position would be raised, to prevent vehicles from passing through.

The roadblocker is a truly formidable defence. It is imposing and suitable for high security sites or sites where the risk of vandalism is prevalent. Our roadblockers come in a range of sizes to suit all applications.

There are a number of different models, designed for different levels of threat. The Anti Vandal Roadblocker is intended for moderate to high level threats from vehicular access.

Anti Vandal Roadblocker

The Heald Road blocker / Truckstopper provides high level security for car park controls through to military applications. The system is manufactured to withstand repeated impact and still operate, giving high security levels to all sites. Specified worldwide for its strength and reliability, the Road blocker comprises of a hydraulically powered reinforced steel barrier that lies flush to the road surface when at rest and raises to a height of between 340mm and 1000mm (dependant on model) upon activation. Strong and durable in construction, the Roadblocker can be easily operated by sites' security personnel or by individual drivers through a choice of access systems.

The recommended applications for each model are as follows:

340mm - 540mm Ideal for traffic control and the limitation of vandalism.

650mm - 1000mm Designed for use in high security areas.

With its unique design, fitting can usually be completed in one day, and the high security anti-tamper controls ensure there is no way of beating the system.
